Charlotte Dental Implant Center works with trusted third-party financing companies that specialize in healthcare and dental procedures. These programs allow you to spread the cost of treatment over monthly payments that fit your budget.

We accept a variety of major dental insurance providers

Once your appointment or consultation is scheduled, our friendly staff is more than happy to help you with understanding what your insurance plan covers and what your financing options are for treatments that are not covered. We do NOT take Medicare and Medicaid. We accept certain plans under the insurance carriers but not all of them.

We accept:

CareCredit

CareCredit is a healthcare credit card accepted at over 250,000 providers nationwide. CareCredit offers promotional financing periods with no interest if paid in full within the promotional period (6, 12, 18, or 24 months depending on the plan). Extended payment plans with reduced interest rates are also available for larger treatments. Apply online at carecredit.com or in our office.

Insurance Coverage

Charlotte Dental Implant Center accepts most major dental insurance plans. Coverage for dental implants varies by plan — some plans cover a portion of the implant, the crown, or both. Our team will:

Verify your benefits: We contact your insurance company to determine exactly what your plan covers for dental implant treatment.

Maximize your coverage: We submit claims and pre-authorizations to ensure you receive the maximum benefit your plan allows.

Explain your out-of-pocket cost: Before treatment begins, you know exactly what insurance covers and what your remaining balance will be. The remaining balance can be paid out of pocket or financed through one of the options above.

If you have dental insurance, bring your insurance card to your free consultation and our team will verify your benefits before your treatment appointment.

Why Dental Implants Are a Smart Financial Decision

While dental implants have a higher upfront cost than dentures or bridges, they are the most cost-effective tooth replacement over a lifetime:

Dentures cost $2,000–$5,000 upfront but require replacement every 5–10 years, plus ongoing costs for adhesives, cleaning solutions, and relining. Over 20 years: $10,000–$20,000+.

Traditional bridges cost $2,000–$5,000 upfront but last only 10–15 years on average and require grinding down healthy adjacent teeth. Over 20 years: $4,000–$10,000+.

Dental implants cost more upfront but can last a lifetime with proper care. No replacements, no adhesives, no damage to other teeth. Over 20 years: the original investment.

Frequently Asked Questions About Cost

Can I get dental implants with no money down?

Depending on the financing plan you qualify for, it may be possible to begin treatment with little or no money down. CareCredit and LendingClub both offer plans where payments begin after treatment starts. Ask our team about zero-down options during your consultation.

Is the consultation really free?

Yes. The consultation — including the oral examination and cone-beam CT scan — is completely free with no obligation. You will never be charged for the initial evaluation.

Can I combine insurance and financing?

Absolutely. Many patients use their dental insurance to cover a portion of the treatment and finance the remaining balance through CareCredit, LendingClub, or Proceed Finance. Our team will help you structure payment in the most affordable way.

Will you give me a written cost estimate?

Yes. After your consultation, you receive a written treatment plan with itemized costs for every component of your procedure. There are no hidden fees. The price discussed at your consultation is the price you pay.
